Position Overview

Project Manager, Finance Data Platforms – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
On-site, Burbank, CA – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. W2 only, No C2C.

Estimated pay: USD $80.00/hr – $88.00/hr.

Strength in budgeting & financial planning/forecasting processes and systems.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex implementation projects.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of the program’s vision, objectives, scope, timelines, resource requirements, and business impact.
• Work independently, lead through influence, with minimal guidance.
• Manage a matrixed PMO and lead project teams and 3rd‑party resources.
• Lead project planning, strategy, and resource identification.
• Collaborate with business partners, technology partners, and delivery managers.
• Act as primary liaison between Finance, Data Engineering, and Technology teams.
• Interface with partners and vendors to ensure project deliverables, timing, and cost deadlines.
• Coordinate bi‑weekly Data Council meetings, agendas, and RAID logs.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts proactively.
• Escalate to leadership and vendors as required.
• Communicate status and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
• Track and communicate metrics/KPIs illustrating business value.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures against operating and capital budgets.
• Analyze financial impact of project actions, track budget expenditures.
• Lead and track progress to key performance indicators.
• Evaluate overall project health and status; produce actionable insights.
• Maintain weekly project status reporting and RAID logs.
• Participate in sourcing and contracting activities.
• Maintain clear communication of scope, timing, prioritization, budgets, and resources.
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Identify gaps in team accountability and ownership of deliverables.

• 8+ years in a technology leadership role within a corporate environment of similar size/complexity.
• Working knowledge of integrated systems lifecycle, including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.
• Familiarity with data engineering, ETL tools, data integration frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in EPM budgeting & financial planning.
• Experience leading the strategy, design, implementation, or upgrade of major ERP/Finance platforms.
• Experience leading large, matrixed project teams (architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, vendor partners).
• Experience driving inter‑organization change to increase efficiency through technology implementation.
• Experience managing project, team, and budget financials.
• Experience with Security and Compliance.
• Proven execution track record, delivering results and meeting commitments.
• Comfortable using modern work management and collaboration tools (Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project online, Confluence, SharePoint/Teams, Slack).
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
