Role Overview This position is for a Senior Platform Engineer focusing on Active Directory and Privileged Access Management (PAM). The role involves analyzing and modernizing the identity lifecycle management process, guiding the decommissioning of legacy Active Directory instances, and designing solutions for future service offerings through detailed technical analysis. The engineer will also assist with compliance and remediation activities related to Active Directory, Entra, and associated technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities Analyze the existing lifecycle management of identities in Active Directory and Entra to automate and modernize the process.

Document and guide the operations team in decommissioning legacy Active Directory instances.

Evaluate service and product capabilities to design solutions for future service offerings.

Assist with compliance and remediation activities for AD, Entra, and related platforms.

Define and document engineered designs.

Lead the consolidation and decommissioning of legacy Active Directory domains and their PKI infrastructure.

Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and privileged identity management (PIM) across Active Directory and Entra  the provisioning and deprovisioning lifecycle of non-human (service) accounts.

Standardize AD architecture and governance, including conducting baseline security assessments.

Work with security and infrastructure teams to remediate vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of work experience in Identity & Access Management is required. Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-level hybrid IAM solutions is necessary.

Technical

Skills:

Active Directory and Azure Active Directory / Entra  Identity Manager and Active Directory Federation.

PAM Solutions and integrations between key services and various LDAP providers.

Engineering and designing infrastructure components (domain controllers, sites) and logical aspects (GPO management, directory structure).Hands-on experience with PAM platforms, including privileged account vaulting and privileged access workstation (PAW) deployment.

Designing and enforcing role-based access controls (RBAC) and privileged identity management (PIM).PKI architecture, certificate lifecycle management, and certificate authority migration.

Active Directory domain consolidation, migration, and decommissioning.

Automating non-human (service) account lifecycle management.

Conducting AD/Entra security baseline assessments and remediating findings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Cyber Ark or Idera is a significant advantage.

Experience working with and directing suppliers in an outsourced environment.

Familiarity with Entra , including cross-tenant identity governance models.
