Job Description
The Law and Motion Attorney will have a strong background in drafting pleadings and motions, with a deep understanding of civil litigation. This position requires excellent research, writing, and analytical skills to effectively draft a wide range of litigation documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research to support the drafting of motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Draft and prepare complaints, meet and confer correspondence, briefs, discovery motions and dispositive motions
- Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to develop case strategies
- Take complete ownership for assigned workload
- Responsible for bringing positivity to the workplace
- Other duties as assigned
- 1+ years' experience in civil litigation
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
