*** 3+ years of experience in centerless grinding.
* *** Knowledge:
*** Working knowledge as a Precision Grinder in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience working with Cincinnati centerless grinding machine (manual) is highly preferred.
* *** Skills/Abilities:
*** Centerless, and Inside Diameter/Outside Diameter grinding.
* **
* Education/Certification:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent
* ** Eligibility Requirement:
** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.  As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
*** Hourly range: $21.40 to $35.60.
*** Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.

* Job Summary:

** The Precision Grinder operates precision grinding machines to product parts according to established blueprint and engineering specifications.
* Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation
* Measure work pieces and lay out work, using precision measuring devices
* Select machine tooling to be used, utilizing knowledge of machine and production requirements
* Study blueprints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine product specifications, tool requirements, and operational sequences
* Mount and position tools in machine chucks, spindles, centers, or other tool holding devices, as well as using hand tools
* Activate machine start-up switches to grind or cut work pieces, according to specifications
* Inspect or measure finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as gauges or micrometers, holding tolerances of +/- .001 to .00002 on Inside Diameter (I.D) & Outside Diameter (O.D), and checking parts to Blue Print requirements
* Lift and position work pieces, manually on machine tables, faceplates, or chucks, using clamps
* Set up, operate, or tend grinding and related tools that remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners, or buff, or…
