Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) for the ER - DAYS OR NIGHTS

Job Summary: Mission Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. The RN will independently utilize the nursing process to care for patients safely, therapeutically, and efficiently, following policies and procedures. The role involves delivering individualized quality patient care through a team approach with physicians, staff, other departments, patients, and their families. Compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code, is required.

Qualifications:

• Current license with the California State Nursing Board
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and community resources
• Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Organizational skills
• Frontline communication skills
• Verbal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
• Proficient in computer operations

Certifications (Preferred):

• Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia course
• ENPC, TNCC, and CEN
