Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The Sous Chef will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently met. Pay: $75000 - $85000 / year

plus quarterly bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, food preparation, and execution.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and food cost control.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and seasonal menu offerings.
  • Monitor food presentation and ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for quality and consistency.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, menu tastings, and special events as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
