Opportunity Summary

Castaway is looking for exceptional line cooks to join our culinary team. Pay: $18 - $23 / hour

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals according to BEOs, established recipes, and standards.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, up to par with Health Department standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1 year previous experience as a prep or line cook is required
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Ability to execute high-volume, large-scale event orders
  • Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights
