• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
• Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations to maintain an orderly environment.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and local authorities during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

• Must have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
