An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a long-established, privately owned international organisation who are a trusted global distributor within the healthcare and pharmaceutical space and has experienced consistent growth both domestically and internationally.
Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a full-time Office Support Administrator to act as a key point of contact at its headquarters. This is a varied role combining PA-style support, reception duties, and general office administration, and is essential to the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling and coordinating meetings, diaries, and travel arrangements as required
* Acting as the first point of contact at reception, ensuring all visitors are greeted in a friendly and professional manner
* Managing the main telephone line, responding to calls promptly and relaying messages accurately
* Reviewing, responding to, and distributing enquiries received through the company website and shared email inboxes
* Overseeing all inbound and outbound mail, couriers, and deliveries, ensuring items are handled and prioritised correctly
* Organising and maintaining the sample room, including preparing, packing, and arranging shipment of customer samples
* Taking clear, accurate minutes during meetings, including those of a confidential nature
* Providing administrative support to a senior director, including employee documentation, record keeping, and issuing formal correspondence
* Carrying out a range of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organised electronic and paper records
Skills & Experience Needed:
* Previous office-based administrative experience (essential)
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
