Role: Service Demand Planning Associate
Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday
Pay: £15-£17 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay) / £19.89-£22.55 per hour UMB (including holiday pay)
Contract: 6-month contract (inside IR35)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Demand Planning Associate to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation based in Burgess Hill.
This role is primarily a scheduling and coordination position, focused on the day-to-day planning of service resources and supporting operational delivery.
Please note: this is not a PMO or forecasting role. The position involves a hands‑on, administrative approach, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and accurate system updates.

The Requirements:
- A-level education or equivalent, with GCSEs (including English and Maths at grades A-C)
- Experience with in a demand planning or scheduling role (desirable)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple enquiries
The Role:
- Day‑to‑day scheduling and coordination of service resources through active stakeholder communication
- Monitoring demand and supply activity using internal systems and digital tools
- Taking corrective action to resolve short‑term scheduling conflicts and capacity issues
- Updating systems accurately to maintain high data quality and operational visibility
- Supporting demand‑supply balance activity through coordination and administrative input
- Planning and coordinating out‑of‑hours service activity when required
- Ensuring customers and internal teams are kept informed of changes and updates
- Supporting inventory and logistics coordination through accurate system management
- Adhering to defined processes, working instructions, and governance requirements
- Assisting with continuous improvement by highlighting recurring issues or inefficiencies
