Principal Renewables Consultant - PT Renewables. Supporting a sustainable future by providing expert talent solutions across the Clean-Energy sectors.

Our client is an established UK renewable energy company delivering commercial-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. They have a strong pipeline of projects and work with major commercial clients across the country.

You'll manage multiple commercial solar and BESS projects from design handover through to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification.

• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple commercial projects
• Coordinate civil, electrical, and battery storage installation works
• Work with DNOs and technical consultants to ensure regulatory compliance
• Complete DNO applications, MCS certification, and project documentation
• Maintain HSEQ standards in line with CDM regulations
• Monitor project performance, risks, and costs
• Support contract negotiations and procurement for BESS components

• 3+ years managing commercial solar PV and/or BESS projects
• Technical understanding of solar and battery storage installations
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Knowledge of DNO processes (G98/G99) and MCS standards

• Strong HSEQ knowledge and CDM 2015 compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Project planning and reporting skills

• Background in EPC, electrical contracting, or renewable energy consultancy
• Experience with project planning software (MS Project, Primavera)
• Proficiency in PV design software (PV Sol, Solar Edge Designer)
