Job Description
We're a Bible preaching church in South Seattle, serious about theology, discipleship, and the next generation. We're looking for a Youth Director with a few solid years of ministry under their beltsomeone who loves students, teaches Scripture clearly, leads with humility, and knows how to build a team.

This is a significant, highly relational role for someone who wants to invest deeply in students, equip families, disciple volunteers, and faithfully teach the Word. The position focuses primarily on leading our middle and high school student ministry and includes oversight of our congregational care team. The ideal candidate has a few years of ministry experience, loves students and families, teaches with clarity and conviction, and works well in a team based environment.

Primary Responsibilities ( does not provide any formatting)
Youth Ministry (75%)
Develop and lead a Christ centered strategy for youth discipleship.
Teach weekly student gatherings rooted in the Bible.
Recruit, train, and disciple adult volunteers.
Partner with parents in the spiritual growth of their students.
Organize events including retreats, camps, and outreach opportunities.
Cultivate a welcoming, relational, and mission minded student culture.

Congregational Care (25%)
Lead the church's care team to ensure consistent visitation and support.
Organize care needs and assign team members accordingly.
Recruit and support volunteers within the care ministry.

Requirements
A genuine, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Clear alignment with BPC's theological convictions and mission.
2-5 years of experience in youth ministry or a related field (preferred)
Strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills.
A shepherd's heart for students, families, and the local church.
Bachelor's degree preferred; ministry or theological training a plus.
