Compensation and Sign-On Bonus

Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a Banker / Universal Associate II to join the team at our Burien Branch.

Salary Range: $22.50 - $27.50 hourly. The target salary range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00 depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $22.50 - $27.50.

A $1,500 Sign-On Bonus is available: $500 will be paid on the first paycheck; the remaining $1,000 will be paid on the check following the 6-month anniversary.

• You will perform routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, etc.
• Open new consumer accounts including savings, checking, money market, certificates of deposit, minor accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s), Health Savings Accounts etc.
• Accept, review, and process consumer loans.

• At least one year of experience as a teller or equivalent customer facing banking experience.
• Experience in opening new accounts and loans required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be bondable.
• Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.

To best serve our members, this position requires an in-person schedule. Shifts are typically Monday - Friday 8:45AM - 5:15PM or 9:15AM - 5:45PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM - 1:15PM, affording a day off during the week.
