Position: Physical Therapist - Avamere Burien

Rate: $47 – $55/hr DOE

The position involves short‑term rehabilitation with approximately 25% long‑term care. It requires evaluation, treatment, planning, documentation, and education for patients while ensuring quality care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy to patients according to licensure.
  • Direct and supervise assistants, rehab aides, and students within State and Federal guidelines.
  • Follow all organizational and facility safety procedures concerning personal protection and patient safety.
  • Support and participate in department operations and development.
  • Communicate patient status and needs to patients, families, caregivers, and other care team members.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy curriculum.
  • Licensed and authorized to practice independently.
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
  • Full knowledge of resident rights.
  • Professional presentation and demeanor.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • CPR certification.
