Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy to patients according to licensure.
- Direct and supervise assistants, rehab aides, and students within State and Federal guidelines.
- Follow all organizational and facility safety procedures concerning personal protection and patient safety.
- Support and participate in department operations and development.
- Communicate patient status and needs to patients, families, caregivers, and other care team members.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy curriculum.
- Licensed and authorized to practice independently.
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
- Full knowledge of resident rights.
- Professional presentation and demeanor.
- Multitasking ability.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- CPR certification.
