Salary Range: $102,500 – $135,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop written plans of care for each resident and review medical and nursing treatments to ensure alignment with care plans and resident wishes
  • Plan, schedule, and revise MDS, including implementation of CAA’s and triggers
  • Make daily rounds to ensure nursing personnel complete their work assignments
  • Review nurses’ notes for quality and accuracy of care documentation
  • Maintain rapport with all facility personnel to meet resident needs
  • Participate in discharge plan reviews and prepare reports for the Care Plan Committee as directed
  • Delegate, train, evaluate, and support RN, LPN, and CNA personnel
  • Provide direct nursing care as needed
  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services and fill in as needed
  • Participate in government agency facility surveys
  • Recommend changes in procedures, policies, education, or general nursing practices to enhance quality of patient care
  • Attend continuing education and lead in‑service training for nursing personnel
Qualifications:
  • Accredited nursing degree
  • Current, unencumbered, active RN license in WA
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a supervisor or charge nurse in a skilled nursing facility
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care facilities
  • Experience with electronic medical records and computer documentation systems
  • Strong confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Active CPR/BLS certification
