The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, and has approximately 17,000 employees. It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.
** Description of Work
** The Adjustment Services Supervisor plans, develops, sets standards and policy, performs compliance monitoring and provides supervision to staff. This includes daily oversight of all consumer activities including transportation, vocational skills training, case management activities, consumer orientation to Work Source West, and addressing manufacturing and disciplinary issues as they arise. This position is directly responsible for supervising 4 employees and also provides indirect supervision to 9 additional employees.

The Adjustment Services Supervisor also handles program evaluation, coordinates CQL accreditation, and maintains wage and hour certification for the facility and prevailing wage information in relation to the Department of Labor.

* NC driver's license required for work related travel
