Shift Supervisor – CVS Health

Position Summary:

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures.

• Manage store operations: coordinate with store management, supervise crew, assign tasks, and follow up on opening and closing procedures.
• Effectively communicate information between store management and crews.
• Deliver excellent customer service: assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Handle merchandise and presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute off‑shelf merchandise displays and maintain them.
• Reset departments following POGs (Plan of Action Guides).

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts; willingness to overtime and respond to urgent issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
