Perform labor and technical work to maintain water and wastewater systems, providing 24-hour stand‑by duties as needed or on a rotating basis for operations, maintenance, and safety of facilities to ensure the integrity of the system.

Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License with good driving record.
- For continued employment, must obtain:
- Valid Class "A" Texas Commercial Driver's license with tank endorsement within six months of hire or transfer into position.
- Minimum Class "D" or higher Water Treatment/Distribution license or Class "D/I" or higher Wastewater Treatment/Collection license as issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality within one year of hire or transfer into position.

- One year of work in the water distribution or wastewater collection system maintenance or inspection field.

- Minimum Class "D" Water Treatment or Distribution license or Class "D/I" or higher Wastewater Treatment/Collection license as issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
