Responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during various cardiovascular, non-ablation electrophysiology, or interventional radiology procedures to ensure efficient, comfortable, and safe patient examinations. This position is proficient in two out of the three standard roles of scrub, circulate, and monitor, following the policies, procedures, and processes of the department and institution. This role adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations.

In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all individuals.

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Administers and evaluates effectiveness of treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and performs within the scope of practice for the position.

• High School Grad or Equiv Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
• Lic Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH) Required or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required

• Associate Preferred
• 1 year Work Experience Preferred
