• Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
• Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
• Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
• May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
• Provides counseling and education using evidence‑based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.

• Bachelor's (Required)
• Certified Dietitian (CD) – Accredited Issuing Body
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
