Help Desk Technician (Tier 1.5)

We’re looking for a Help Desk Technician (Tier 1.5) to join our team. You’ll support end users, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with projects related to networking, servers, and security systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in IT who’s looking to deepen their skills in an MSP environment that values training, precision, and growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide remote and onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Assist with firewall, switch, and VPN configurations under senior engineer guidance
  • Help with onboarding new users, setting up devices, and managing security tools
  • Maintain accurate ticketing and documentation within Autotask PSA and IT Glue
  • Participate in small projects, including network upgrades, server installs, and cloud migrations
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 engineers while learning from hands‑on collaboration
What You Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in an MSP or multi‑client IT support environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Familiarity with firewalls, RMM tools (Datto, Ninja One), or similar platforms
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into higher‑level technical or project‑based roles
