Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner.

• Perform all manual labor assigned to the area.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Understanding of safety procedures.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Adherence to Champion Operating Principles.

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is preferred.

The physical requirements include regular standing, using hands, reaching, talking, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
