Full-Time Days

• Our care for patients extend to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families and providing on call 24 hours, 7 days a week Chaplains for spiritual support.

The Surgery Recovery RN provides professional nursing care for the post-operative patient during Recovery Room stay and during transfer of the patient to the appropriate unit.

• Assesses patient status upon arrival to the PACU and performs ongoing assessments, including respiratory status, O2 saturation, vital signs, dressings, output from foley and drains, and heart rhythms.
• Recognizes and responds immediately to life-threatening situations according to PACU protocol.
• Identifies significant changes in patient's condition, reports to anesthesia/head nurse/charge nurse or surgeon, and documents all appropriate actions.
• Implements the plan of care to assist the patient in returning to the outpatient area or surgical floor unit.

Minimum qualifications:

• Associate's of Nursing Required
• 1 Year Work Experience Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) Required

• Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred
