Shift:40 hours per week

The Surgery Recovery RN provides professional nursing care for the post-operative patient during Recovery Room stay and during transfer of the patient to the appropriate unit.
The value you'll bring to the team:- Assesses patient status upon arrival to the PACU and performs ongoing assessments, including respiratory status, O2 saturation, vital signs, dressings, output from foley and drains, and heart rhythms.
- Recognizes and responds immediately to life-threatening situations according to PACU protocol.
- Identifies significant changes in patient's condition, reports to anesthesia/head nurse/charge nurse or surgeon, and documents all appropriate actions.
- Implements the plan of care to assist the patient in returning to the outpatient area or surgical floor unit.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate's of Nursing Required
- 1 Year Work Experience Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred
