Position

Purpose:

Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. They make equipment recommendations, ensure units are maintained, and work in stores with Tool Rental Centers or in repair centers. In stores, technicians provide service to customers, handle rental contracts and invoices, check equipment operation, and demonstrate proper use. They also manage daily operations and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department.

Off-site, technicians repair, test, and clean units before returning them to the store. They must have thorough knowledge of tools and manage inventory effectively.
