Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies. Drive financial performance by monitoring the pharmacy budget, minimizing unauthorized overtime, providing staff training and development, delivering excellent customer service, managing prescription pricing and generic utilization, controlling inventory, and delivering corporate‑approved clinical services. Responsibilities- Oversee all pharmacy operations and compliance with laws and policies.
- Monitor budget, control labor costs, and eliminate unauthorized overtime.
- Provide staff training, development, and performance coaching.
- Maintain excellent customer service and prescription quality.
- Manage prescription pricing, generic utilization, and inventory.
- Implement and participate in corporate‑approved clinical services.
- Ensure confidentiality of information and adherence to privacy regulations.
- Produce and submit routine reports and correspondence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.
D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy. - Minimum of 2 years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Participation in clinical programs following company‑sponsored training.
- Willingness to continue education as necessary.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
- Proven leadership skills.
- License in good standing.
- Relevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s).
- Experience in business management, including supervising staff, handling customer complaints, and directing workflow.
- Experience developing, implementing, and promoting sales plans and initiatives.
- Knowledge of controlled substance operating procedures and inventory management.
- Ability to monitor third‑party or insurance profitability and resolve related issues.
- Experience scheduling staff to control labor costs.
- Record‑keeping compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.
- Experience performing detailing visits to local physicians and community targets.
- Experience promoting public health initiatives and disease‑state management services.
- Ability to travel independently as needed.
- Experience coaching direct reports and conducting performance reviews.
- Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
