McCain Foods is now accepting applications for a Sanitation Laborer to work a 12‑hour day shift at our Burley, . Under limited supervision, the Sanitation Laborer performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation work in all areas of the plant following established sanitation standards, procedures and practices.

• Deep clean and sanitize equipment as listed in Sanitation SOPs.
• Clean and sanitize production and packaging areas and other assigned areas.
• Flush, scrub, and sanitize ceilings, walls, floors, overhead pipes and other areas; clean and wipe lights and electrical cords.
• Clean mats, carts, and buckets used in the production area daily.
• Measure and mix appropriate chemical cleaning agents per specification.
• Refill and distribute chemical cleaning agent containers as needed.
• Understand and be familiar with the inventory control process and procedure within the sanitation department.
• Use high pressure cleaning apparatuses and mix and apply potentially hazardous chemical compounds and solutions.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment where multi‑tasking is required.

• Hourly rate: $19.96 – $22.17
• $1.50 shift differential for day shift positions.
