About the RoleThe QA Grader inspects processed products by testing and supplying data to appropriate personnel. Prior experience as a Quality Assurance Grader in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
Accountabilities- Demonstrate computer skills and learn quickly in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment where multitasking is required.
- Collect samples and conduct various tests on raw, processed and finished products to ensure they meet company quality specifications.
- Measure and record quality attributes of tested products.
- Monitor time and temperature of processing machinery.
- Calibrate and set up lab equipment, perform new testing techniques and procedures.
- Measure the SAPP/Citric Acid concentration in SAPP/Citric Acid addition systems.
- Adjust the amount of sugar solution released into line equipment to control the color of the product as needed.
- Enter data into the computer system.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Must successfully complete the QA Grader certification.
