Position Title: Peeler Operator B1C

Location: Burley,

Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $21.16 - $23.52

Shift: 12‑hour rotating NIGHT shift (Day/Night) at the Burley plant.

Responsible for operating blending, weigh, pre‑treating, and peeling systems to maintain a consistent supply of quality potatoes to the trim room and IQF line. Also operates pee‑wee equipment for size control.

• Monitor quality of incoming product and inform personnel of any changes.
• Maintain a steady line flow of potatoes to achieve the proper blend by adjusting multiple holding bins.
• Control load, steam time, and temperature of pre‑treaters.
• Operate peelers to minimize product waste and maximize efficiency.
• Perform tests to determine peel loss and raw solids and record results.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for maintenance, sanitation, and change‑over.
• Perform preventative and minor maintenance on machinery.
• Ensure peeler room equipment is cleaned and sanitized as required.
• Communicate problems or changes to supervision and relevant personnel.
• Adhere to quality process concepts and techniques to assure a quality operation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
• Accurately enter all information into the computer tracking system and complete all records and reports.

• One to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Hourly rate: $21.16 - $23.52
• $1.50 shift differential for graveyard positions.
