Hydrovac Operator

Overview

Join Badger Infrastructure Solutions as a Hydrovac Operator. You’ll use high‑pressure water and vacuum systems to excavate precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to a variety of construction projects. This role requires safety‑conscious, detail‑oriented individuals ready to work on essential infrastructure projects.

$28.00 per hour and up, based on experience, with many opportunities for pay increases and career advancement.

Operate hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety and environmental protocols. Assist with site preparation, utility mapping, and project execution. Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections. Work variable shifts with extended hours as required.

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10‑18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred).
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Physical capability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience (preferred).
• Minimum age 21 years.

• Compliance with PPE and physical examination requirements.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment screenings.
