We are seeking undergraduate students for our 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Internship Program. Summer analysts typically work 10 weeks within an industry or product group in Investment Banking, learning financial modeling and basic analysis of companies and industries, and gaining an understanding of capital‑market dynamics.

The internship includes one week of formal training at Piper Sandler’s Minneapolis headquarters and networking events throughout the program. Interns are recruited directly into full‑time analyst roles next year.

In our Burlingame, CA office, analysts are placed in the Technology and GP Advisory Group sectors.

• Anticipated graduation date:
  December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another business‑related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willingness and desire to learn.
• Prior finance or accounting coursework or self‑study is beneficial.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Our anticipated starting salary for this position is $110,000 per year. The role is eligible for annual incentive compensation, comprising total competitive market compensation.
