Product Marketing Manager, Devices Go-To-Market

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr

At Meta, we’re building the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible. We’re on a mission to build the next computing platform by putting people at the center of emerging hardware and software technologies, whether on the go with wearables and augmented reality, in the home or at work, or fully immersed in alternate virtual reality worlds.

The Wearables Product Marketing organization influences early stage product development and roadmaps, creates go-to-market plans, drives in-market business growth, and provides direction for future investments. It’s an exciting time to join the Wearables Product Marketing Team. Ray‑Ban Meta AI Glasses have had a positive response from the public, and we are growing the team as we look to accelerate growth – and plan for an expanded portfolio of products in the future.

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to drive and manage the go-to-market launch of future wearable products. This role will be embedded with our go-to-market and product teams and will represent the perspective of the market and voice of the consumer within product development to ensure we are making the best decisions to drive adoption, value for customers, and business growth.

As part of the Go-to-Market PMM Team, you’ll be working to unlock the next phase of wearables technology adoption worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an ongoing canonical understanding of the wearables ecosystem and competitive landscape to identify GTM considerations, emerging use cases, and other growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of out-of-the-box GTM plans for new-to-world products and drive integrated efforts across cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and validate audience definition and sizing, product positioning, naming, and go‑to‑channel.
  • Influence XFN teams (PM, Eng, Design, etc.) to consistently build with our customer at the core, by building relationships, backing up claims with solid data and analyses, and inspiring change through aligned goals and a shared vision.
  • Partner with marketing, comms, and sales teams to create product marketing communications, including press releases, blog posts, campaigns, presentation materials, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go‑to‑market strategies in close partnership with product teams.
  • Experience managing a high volume of complex and ambiguous programs, with significant self‑direction and structure recommendations.
  • Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking, putting forth clear and compelling vision, creative problem solving, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking in building net‑new categories or product areas.
  • Experience working in a fluid environment, adapting, spotting issues early, and escalating.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform and influence product strategy.
  • Effective communication skills (executive documents, presentations).
  • Growth mindset, views problems as opportunities and ambiguity as adventure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience launching physical consumer products (e.g., consumer electronics).
  • Experience or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, AI devices, and/or wearable and smart glasses devices.
  • Experience identifying and analyzing long‑term, critical problems facing the relevant areas of the business and driving solutions for them – including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Experience with retail and point‑of‑sale strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • MS / MBA degree.
