Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts with weekend rotation

• No on-call requirements

• May occasionally float to outpatient surgery

• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting

• Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area

• Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors

• Foster collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers

• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education

• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Unit has 10 beds with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary

• 40 hours of orientation required

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, California RN License

• CNOR and PALS preferred

• CVOR experience required with minimum 2 years experience

• Scrubbing highly recommended

• Experience with orthopedics, vascular, and robotic surgery required

• Epic charting experience preferred

• Travel experience required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

• 50 miles travel requirement applies
