American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN with 3 years of IR experience and an active CA RN license for a day shift assignment with weekend call.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IR RN required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit providing direct nursing care to patients of all ages and developmental stages
- Perform IR procedures, vascular procedures, and Neuro Stroke procedures
- 5x8 or 5x9 Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with start times ranging from 0730 to 10:00 AM
- Weekend call required
- Follows the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient care
- Holiday coverage may be required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only one holiday request approved per contract
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Returning staff must have a separation period of at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
