ResponsibilitiesThe Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to their customers on a designated service route. Their career starts with in‑depth, award‑winning training that prepares them with the skills needed to succeed in daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning.

- Complete our award‑winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and keep it and the equipment clean.
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy, listening to and understanding their needs and recommending the most efficient and innovative solutions.
- Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that give them peace of mind about their pest management.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property—don’t worry, we teach you how!
- Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that give them peace of mind about their pest management program.
- Complete all required service‑related documentation in a handheld device provided for speed and accuracy.
- Competitive earnings starting at $20 to $23 per hour, including a company vehicle with gas card upon route assignment.

Minimum Requirements:
- No experience required— we’ll train you to be a Pro!
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route‑based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Be willing to work in different weather conditions.
