Corporate Tax Accountant

Evertz Microsystems is seeking a proactive Corporate Tax Accountant in Burlington, Ontario. Contribute to the accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and compliance with both Canadian and U.S. tax rules.

This in-office role is pivotal in managing tax reporting and regulatory filings, including SR&ED claims. Collaborate with the accounting team, external advisors, and C-suite executives to support tax audits and evolving tax regulation research. A CPA designation and a solid understanding of CRA regulations will set you up for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation and review of Canadian corporate tax returns

• Assist in filing U.S. corporate tax returns as needed

• Ensure timely submission of sales and corporate taxes

• Manage and maintain access to financial regulatory portals

• Support financial audits and tax provisions as required

Requirements:

• CPA qualification preferred

• Strong CRA compliance knowledge

• Proven project management abilities

• Capacity for independent and team-oriented work

• Familiarity with current tax regulations
