As a Senior Accountant
, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for both our corporate and project entities. Working hands‑on with our Controller and a dynamic finance team, you will:

• Manage month- and year-end close processes to meet tight deadlines
• Prepare complex reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances
• Maintain general ledger integrity, including journal entries and supporting documentation
• Prepare complete and accurate monthly/annual financial statements(GAAP)
• Support internal and external audits, preparing robust schedules and documentation
• Assist with tax filings and compliance under the direction of finance leadership
• Support budgeting and forecasting through data gathering, review, and variance analysis
• Partner with project teamsfor accurate cost tracking and reporting
• Identify and recommend improvements related to accounting controls and processes
• Contribute to systems/process streamlining, automation, and best practices
• Drive ongoing enhancement sin finance operations and cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation(or in progress) preferred
• 6-7 years’ progressive accounting experience; real estate/construction experience a strong asset
• Strong working knowledge ofGAAP
• Proven experience maintaining financial records and preparing reports
• Solid understanding of internal controls, tax, and compliance
• Skilled in variance analysis and communicating financial results
• Proficient in accounting software(Sage, Quick Books, Timber Scan, ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel essential;
  Power BI or other reporting tools a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities
• Collaborative and proactive team player, with exceptional communication skills
• Change-ready with a passion for process improvement and innovation

$85,000 - $110,000 a year

The salary offered will reflect the successful candidate's experience, qualifications and professional designations.
