Accounting Manager Veterinary Firm

Take the lead in finance operations as an Accounting Manager in Burlington, Ontario. Oversee accounting functions for a mid-sized veterinary healthcare organization dedicated to pet care innovation.

This hands-on position offers a 14-16 month maternity leave contract with a reputable client of Treow Group Recruitment. As an Accounting Manager, you will direct day-to-day finance activities including general ledger management, payroll processing, and financial statement preparation. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you navigate GAAP compliance and oversee various accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration with CEO and Controller

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger

• Oversee month-end and year-end closings and reports

• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax filings

• Review cash flow forecasts and budgeting process

Requirements:

• CPA designation with 5+ years of financial management experience

• Proven experience in multi-entity environments

• Proficient in Net Suite ERP and ADP systems

• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
