Temporary Finance Assistant

Support the finance team in Burlington, ON as a temporary Finance Assistant with STRIVE. Perfect for professionals with experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This role requires a detail-oriented candidate with 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. You will assist the finance team by processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. Collaborating closely with the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial reporting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions

• Record E-transfer, Pay Pal, and Square deposits

• Complete monthly financial reporting and ad-hoc reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Assist with year-end financial audits and other duties

Requirements:

• College diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Proficient in Quick Books and Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
