Mission Field Accountant

Position: Mission Field Accountant Opportunity

This office role focuses on preparing field budgets and managing comprehensive financial records, ensuring accountability for Mission assets across various ministries. By overseeing financial disbursements, you'll play a vital role in supporting the mission's impact while ensuring compliance with national laws and requirements. Collaborate with the Field Committee to strategize funding opportunities and maintain effective reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare field budgets and financial reports

• Administer all disbursements and receipts properly

• Ensure accountability for all mission cash assets

• Supervise the work and compliance of bookkeepers

• Participate in financial collaboration with external professionals

Requirements:

• 2-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience

• Willingness to learn Spanish to aid communication

• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OMS accounting software

• Involvement in local evangelical church as a committed follower of Christ
