Senior Accountant

Position: Adi Development Group Senior Accountant Role
Become a Senior Accountant at Adi Development Group, where impactful real estate developments come to life. This pivotal role focuses on financial accuracy and compliance for innovative projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

As part of the financial team, you will report directly to the Controller, overseeing all financial record-keeping for various corporate and project entities. Responsibilities include executing month-end closes, maintaining job cost ledgers, and preparing financial statements under ASPE or IFRS. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and a completed CPA designation are crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end closing and maintain all financial records

• Prepare budget-to-actual reports and construction draw packages

• Handle monthly reconciliations and HST returns

• Act as the primary contact for external audit engagements

• Propose improvements to accounting processes and controls

Requirements:

• Completed CPA designation is a must

• At least five years of relevant accounting experience

• Experience in public accounting preferred

• Solid knowledge of real estate accounting practices

• Advanced Excel skills and ERP familiarity
