Working Foreman / Project Manager
Full-Time | Field Leadership & Project Management
Position OverviewSowers & Beeline Home Services is looking for a hands‑on Working Foreman / Project Manager to lead residential repair, maintenance, and improvement projects while actively working alongside the crew in the field. This role combines leadership, project coordination, customer communication, and skilled trade work to ensure projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and to high‑quality standards. The ideal candidate is experienced in residential construction or handyman services, capable of leading a team, solving problems on‑site, and maintaining productivity while delivering excellent customer service.
ResponsibilitiesField Leadership
- Lead and supervise field crews on residential projects
- Work hands‑on alongside technicians and subcontractors as needed
- Set the pace and standard for workmanship, professionalism, and jobsite organization
- Train and mentor crew members in proper procedures and quality standards
- Ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
- Manage projects from start to finish, including scheduling, materials, labor, and timelines
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries
- Keep projects moving and address delays or issues quickly
Perform final walkthroughs and quality control inspections - Ensure work is completed according to scope and customer expectations
- Communicate with homeowners throughout the project process
- Provide updates, timelines, and solutions when issues arise
- Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain strong client relationships
- Represent the company with professionalism at all times
- Maintain daily job schedules and crew assignments
- Track project progress, labor hours, and material usage
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and organized
- Assist ownership with improving workflows and production systems
- Help maintain profitability by managing efficiency and minimizing waste
- Complete job documentation, photos, and reports
- Use company software/CRM for scheduling and communication
- Assist with estimates, scopes of work, and material lists when needed
- Ensure permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are followed
- 5+ years of residential construction, handyman, remodeling, or home service experience
- Proven leadership or foreman experience
Strong knowledge of residential repairs and construction methods - Ability to manage crews and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to read scopes of work and plans
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, tile, or general remodeling
- Estimating and budgeting experience
- Familiarity with scheduling or project management software
- Ability to train and motivate team members
- Self‑starter with strong work ethic and accountability
