Skills & Experience
1-2 years of experience in office/sales administration
1+ year of experience with Excel – understanding of tables, Pivot Tables, basic functions
1-2 years of customer service experience
Attention to detail and a passion for continuously improving company processes
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and One Drive
Confidence dealing directly with clients and staff members
Previous experience with Net Suite or other CRM / ERP systems an asset
Responsibilities
Act as a product knowledge expert for flexible packaging, responding to sales leads, scheduling customer calls to cover all questions and concerns, updating the CRM system throughout the process
Respond to sales leads, answering client questions and concerns in a timely way
Walk new customers through the process of customized packaging, having them complete forms to be used for quoting purposes
Send quotes to customers, create Sales Orders, receive approvals, request deposits
Send all compliance documents to customers, reviewing the received information, checking for accuracy, uploading all information to CRM and ERP systems
Request samples of customer’s products in order to review and size appropriately with internal personnel
Create Receive Orders for inbound shipments and Ship Orders for Outbound shipments
Create Work Orders and Sales orders for new projects
Coordinate production and communicate timelines with customers
Pull production reports, as required
Serve as a liaison between various departments
Understand how to use the estimator tool and quote customers accurately when required
Create and manage spreadsheets
Follow up with all current clients and incoming leads, ensuring prompt communication
Proficiency in basic math skills, including mark-up, cost calculation, is highly advantageous
Attend Trade shows as required
