Girls Empowerment Mentor

Empower young girls as a mentor with Girls Linking Our Worlds (GLOW) in Burlington, Ontario. This in-person role focuses on youth engagement through leadership and wellness activities.

The GLOW program seeks female mentors for an enriching 8-week initiative targeting elementary school girls. You will mentor participants one hour per week, guiding them through various discussions and activities that encourage leadership, self-confidence, and healthy living. This role is open to enthusiastic individuals looking to make a difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate leadership development activities for girls

• Encourage respect and open communication among participants

• Build positive, supportive relationships in the group

• Promote healthy living practices through discussions

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to participants

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Willing to commute to Burlington, Ontario

• Background or police records check required

• Strong communication skills needed

• Experience with youth mentoring is beneficial
