Creative Programs Staff Youth

The City of Burlington is looking for creative program staff to serve participants in various recreational activities. This part-time, seasonal role allows staff to work closely with youth from preschool to age 18 during Fall, Winter, and Spring programs. Candidates will engage in planning diverse activities while ensuring safe, supportive participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage recreational program content

• Supervise all participants effectively during sessions

• Foster creativity and active learning in program design

• Implement health and safety protocols consistently

• Support inclusive experiences within the program

Requirements:

• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

• Experience with children and youth in group settings

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Creative problem-solving and active listening abilities

• Progress toward a relevant post-secondary credential considered an asset
