Salary
Salary Range $135K-145K**

Responsibilities
Provide corporate support to Leadership, Regional Directors, and staff to achieve educational objectives established in accordance with identified learning needs, policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Assist in delivering classroom and one-on-one training, coaching and development to new hires and existing team members.
Hire, direct, and manage Staff Education Specialists.
Design, develop and deliver new training solutions and materials; job skills and soft skills curriculum.
Design and develop blended learning solutions (self-study guides, coaching tools, job aids).
Conduct task and skill set assessments.
Track and analyze programs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance; help to develop and revise programs, evaluation tools, and measurements to determine effectiveness of curriculum content.
Assist in contacting attendees, scheduling classroom, preparing room set-up, conducting follow-up evaluations, monitoring and maintaining training records database and managing other administrative details.
Serve as a resource to answer staff questions regarding training needs and programs.
Attend workshops and participate in educational experiences that assist in maintaining and improving personal clinical, teaching and leadership skills.
Maintain & catalog written education materials, videos, and equipment and make them available to staff when needed.
Implement employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote an elevated level of employee morale.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of the nursing industry, standards of care, and demonstrate sound decision making and judgment in educational activities involving all levels of patient care.
Develop and evaluate educational programs for a variety of adult audiences.
Use personal qualities and professional techniques to stimulate the interest of learners, motivate them to take constructive action and incorporate knowledge and skills.
Coordinate and develop a corporate master training schedule.
Obtain input from the facility Executive Director(s) in performance appraisal of the assigned Education Specialist.
Coordinate the progress of the Education Specialists in accomplishment of goals to meet mandatory in-services as well as key corporate identified learning initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Abide by the standards identified in Future Care’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
Qualifications
Must possess a Master’s Degree or higher.
Licensed to practice in the state of Maryland as a Registered Nurse; MSN preferred.
3-5 years of clinical and/or teaching experience with gerontological or related focus.
Knowledge and experience in curriculum design, development, and instruction for adult learners.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and regulations of long-term care.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills. Must be energetic, organized, meticulous, flexible and an adaptive learner.
Strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills.
Ability to demonstrate core competencies in current clinical practices and knowledge.
