HDSB is looking for passionate French teachers to fill occasional teaching positions across its schools in Burlington, Halton Hills, Oakville, and Milton.

This role offers engagement with students in grades 1 through 8, focusing on Core French and French Immersion. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing assignments that fit your schedule, backed by a collaborative and innovative Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students in Core French and French Immersion classes

• Work across various schools in the Halton Region

• Engage in short-term (less than 10 days) and long-term assignments

• Leverage online teaching resources for effective instruction

• Work collaboratively with board staff and leaders

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario College of Teachers certification

• Completed FSL Part 1 or equivalent coursework

• Proficient in spoken and written French and English

• Completed criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening

• Willingness to adhere to HDSB policies and regulations
