Personal Support Worker Program Instructor

Join Halton District School Board as an Instructor for the Personal Support Worker Program, commencing in August 2026 at Bateman Community Centre. Help train future health care professionals with practical instruction and mentorship.

This contract role involves teaching across diverse modules in the PSW curriculum while providing guidance during clinical placements. You will oversee evaluations, maintain quality assurance standards, and work closely with community partners to ensure high-quality learning experiences. Your contributions will play a vital role in the certification of prospective PSWs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in PSW curriculum Monday to Friday

• Supervise students during practical placements

• Handle applicant reviews and onboarding processes

• Complete student assessments and performance evaluations

• Liaise with placement partners to ensure success

Requirements:

• RN or RPN qualifications with no practice restrictions

• At least two years relevant experience in health care

• Evidence of teaching or supervising experience

• OCT preferred or required documentation

• Competence in Microsoft Office and related software
