Position: Designated Educator for Extended Day Program
Be a vital part of our Extended Day Program as a Designated Early Childhood Educator in Burlington.

Your role will focus on creating enriching, play-based experiences for children aged 3.8 to 12 years before and after school.

We are hiring dedicated RECE/DECE professionals for positions within the Extended Day Program at various Burlington schools, including Kilbride and Cedar Ridge Public Schools. The successful applicant will implement ministry-aligned practices while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children. Coverage for full-day kindergarten may also be part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead before and after school program activities

• Apply best practices in early childhood development

• Comply with Education Act and related regulations

• Meet individual developmental needs of children

• Prepare and arrange shared equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Degree or Diploma

• Good standing as a College of Early Childhood Educators member

• At least 18 years old

• Willingness to obtain Standard First Aid and CPR certification

• Clear Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Check
