Early Childhood Educator

Position: Early Childhood Educator at YMCA HBB
Empower children’s growth as an Early Childhood Educator with YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford starting August 2026. Lead developmental activities, ensure compliance, and foster a safe environment.

We're seeking multiple Early Childhood Educators to plan and organize activities for children aged 0-12. Ideal candidates will apply YMCA pedagogical practices and adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines. You will also maintain health and safety standards, document children’s progress, and build strong relationships with parents and community contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead activities tailored to children's developmental needs

• Ensure compliance with YMCA and Ministry of Education standards

• Maintain child safety and address potential hazards

• Document children’s activities accurately

• Liaise with families and community partners

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education

• Membership with College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Current First Aid and CPR certification
