This part-time, temporary position is dedicated to the Male EngageMENt initiative, concentrating on awareness and prevention of gender-based violence. You will facilitate educational programs for boys, men, and male allies while collaborating with local schools and organizations. The goal is to encourage healthy masculinity and respectful relationships in Halton Region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop educational curriculum
• Coordinate and facilitate community education programs
• Foster relationships with educational communities
• Lead discussions on healthy masculinity and violence prevention
• Attend community events, conferences, and forums
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience with women's and social justice issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in facilitating educational sessions
• Knowledge of community service organizations
